I write notes a lot for work and usually jot tasks down in a field notes everyday and I’ve been using the Slim Bolt Action Pen everyday since I got it with a Uni-ball Jetstream Fine (0.38 mm) refill and it’s perfect. I could not recommend more.

Got the Slim line Bolt Action pen in the mail today. Weight and smoothness of the bolt action is spot on. The machining and design is simple, yet very well thought out. Shows the ingenuity it took to produce a pen that can accept a multitude of refill types. Bravo BID team.
Came on here to buy the mini bolt action to put in my garage built gear pouch, but sadly saw it was sold out.

Possibly The Only Pen that Fits My Needs

I'm an airline pilot. My uniform shirts have an open-top pocket with a pen partition, and I don't carry a spare shirt. Therefore, pocket clips need to fit over a lot of material, and accidental ball exposure is highly conspicuous. Although I wish there was an option for a much less stiff clip, a suitable alternative is that the gap is adjustable with pliers. Additionally, after almost five months of flying, none of my shirts have been inked *knock on wood*. With all this security and a highly satisfying single-handed mechanism, I cannot recommend this pen enough! Fingers crossed for the release of a springy pocket clip.
