Small knife with a BIG punch!

I've have enjoyed carrying the Overlook! It is significantly smaller than the PK II. But it's still mighty! Rapid flick open with the thumb studs! Razor sharp slicer! Quick and easy, one handed close. Small footprint. M390! Titanium handles! Perfect little and light carry!

I picked up the Big Idea Design Overlook on the very first day of Blade Show, and since that moment, it’s been a permanent resident in my pocket — no exaggeration. This isn’t just another pocket knife; it’s a titanium whisper that says, “I’m built for everything, but I’m not here to show off about it.”

The action? Buttery. The lines? Clean. The fit and finish? Classic BID perfection. The Overlook somehow balances minimalist elegance with rugged functionality, like a gentleman who secretly knows how to survive in the wild. Every detail, from the sculpted clip to the stonewashed finish, speaks of quiet confidence. It’s not trying to be flashy — it’s trying to be indispensable, and it succeeds.

Simplicity at its finest.

Incredibly smooth action and refinement of this knife. One of my favorite to EDC now and is already in the rotation. A lanyard slot would have been icing on the cake.

Cool EDC knife

Smooth action. I don’t know if I would recommend it if you are left handed. The thumb stud is a little too close to the frame lock. I have been practicing with my right hand. Build quality is very good. Fit and finish are excellent. Very sharp out of the box. Nice clip and fits well in the pocket.
