Mini Click Pen

I’ve bought a few of the Mini Click pen to determine my perfect EDC pen.
I’ve settled on the Raw Ti version for my wallet and the Copper version because Copper is awesome.
The pen is the perfect size for me and the build quality is superb.
If I was being hypercritical I wished the Copper clicker was made from copper but that’s just me.
I’ve tried a lot of pens and this design is head and shoulders above all the others.
Amazing price too.

I purchased the Big Idea Design X Carryology bolt action mini pen. It is officially my very first EDC pen AND my first from Big Idea Design.

I love the details in the actual packaging that the pen came in but once you take the pen out...you're hit the realization that this pen was truly put together by someone who is a master of their craft. The one thing that blows my mind is how heavy this pen feels in my hand. The laser engraving is so precise and very cool to look at.

Plus, it writes incredibly smooth, which is a big plus for me because I'm a huge fan of ballpoint ink.

LOVE this pen. I got the copper with the titanium Damascus clip and it looks killer. Unfortunately I had the same issue as some others… the refill stuck out WAY too far. Luckily, BigIdea replied to my email within hours and sent out multiple replacement parts and it fixed the issue. Some refills still stick out quite far but I’ve found a great one (Schmidt 365 mini D1 on Amazon). Very satisfied and appreciate the customer service.

As I stated in a prior review… I like the design and the quality looks like it's tas I stated in a prior review… I like the design and the quality looks like it's there exceptional. However, in reality, the product is very disappointing. I've emailed the company twice and I've only received one response. I never heard from them after my second out of the box, the pen refill has never fit the pen correctly… It sticks out way too far… It just looks stupid. I sent an email asking him if there was a way to adjust it so that the refill will retract better into the pen body. Without sticking out. I was told to jammed refill for the back… Which I did, and it made it so bad it basically ruined the pan as now it's completely jammed and will not retract or extend or just anything. It's useless… Essentially a $70 fishing lure at this point. I sent pictures and a note back to the company asking for advice on what to do now or if they could at least fix it. I never got a response… They are not crooks… I really think they try their best. However, it's disappointing to be stuck with a $70 fishing lore when all you really wanted to have was a nice working pen. tech downturn is a much much better company… Their pens are amazing. I think I'll go back to them.

I've used the pen for a year and love it. It's a unique pen built with robust materials. The included refills work well, however, right now I'm using Jetstream SXR-200-05 refills and I highly recommend them. The click mechanism did get stuck recently, but customer service and warranty are excellent. Tyler reached out very quickly after I contacted them. He provided perfect service and sent the replacement part right away with no hasstle whatsoever. Worth every penny in my opinion.
