I’m in love! This pen is the best and most cherish-able pen I own! It’s simply the looks of it now. Pull the trigger. Get a copper pen. You will love it too!

My favorite Pen for the second time

This pen was my all time favorite. Unfortunately some springy part broke. Contacted the customer support and got it immediately replaced without any hassle. Got an awesome patina, super fidgy mechanism. Also I like the heavy weight to it.

Fidget Factor is Fabulous

I've got a bit of a collection of Big Idea Design pens happening now. The Bolt Action is my favourite to look at, the Pocket Pro my favourite for EDC & the Dual Click wins hands down for fidget factor. As well as being well built & being great to write with, this one stays on my desk & gets picked up constantly cause it is just that good to fidget with...not sure it would work so well out of a home office environment if you wish to stay friends with your co-workers however ;)

Mechanism is broken

I had the Ti click edc for a while now without any major issue. I lost that pen and so I decided to buy the dual click pen because I like fidget friendly mechanics.

Within two weeks of use, the click mechanism was dysfunctional. The dual click release section was fully loose and drifted to one side, almost fully out of its housing.

Regrettably, I had to return the pen. The customer service was good however, and I opted to repurchase the ti click EDC.

Although I highly recommend the ti click edc, I would not suggest buying the dual click because of the mechanical issue that may or may not be unique to my unit.

Great pen

I highly enjoy all my BigIDesign pens and tools. The Dual Side Click is no exception. I had to “work in” the switch a little bit which was simple. The main thing was realizing it’s one piece that you push from either side. Very solid and simple design. I thought it was 2 separate mechanisms.

The pen is well balanced, feels great in the hand and has the cool and functional retracting function. It’s great you can try many new types of refills out. The Arto EDC can take even more.

The only thing I would change with the pen is the refill. The Schmidt 900 isn’t my favorite. I prefer the 9000 from Schmidt or Signo, JetStream, G2, Itoya and some others.

It’s a great pen, has a lifetime warranty and excellent customer service. Make sure you’re ordering from the proper channel, though. I’m based in the US and accidentally ordered from the international department, which increased shipping time significantly.
