I got the copper variant I love it. Good right to it, c feels solid. Using it as my daily marker and it's holding up well.

Fantastic Marker

Like all Big Idea Design products the Bolt Action Marker (BAM) is a high quality and dependable writing instrument. The BAM feels great in the hand with balanced weight and a silky smooth and fidgity bolt action movement. Add in the lifetime warranty and you really can't go wrong!

Fantastic design

This is my 10th plus purchase from big idea design and like the rest it’s perfect. I have carried there pens and pocket tools for over 6 years and I enjoy them all. The marker is made to the same standards. My favorite feature is that you have the option to add a range of marker refills. I will be back to buy more for family and friends as gifts! Big idea design is one of the highest quality manufacturing companies of edc equipment i have ever known and i trust both the design process and the manufacturing process. Good designs are simple designs and this marker does not get any simpler. I am curious how it would hold up for people who work near metal milling or chips. Because this mechanism is magnetic driven it may slowly attract fine ferric materials. However it looks easy to wipe off so probably not a problem. No design is perfect but this is as close as we can get.

New bolt action markers

I ordered two bolt action markers and put a highlighter in one and a sharpie in the other. The copper one has already started its patina beautifully. These products work really well and add a level of sophistication to marker and highlighter tasks. They are substantial in weight and are easy to hold. The bolt action works perfectly and the video provided makes the change out task easy.

First impression: Love it!

I've only had it a couple of days, but so far so good. Solid and sleek.
