Ti Pocket Knife II

I’ll start by saying this knife feels VERY similar to my mcnees mac 2, which is a great thing. Action is insanely smooth out of the box and even better after a disassembly and cleaning. Gave one to my brother and it’s lived in his pocket ever since. It’s an ideal use/tool that’s addicting to fidget with.

Wanted something with a minimal design, not too many bolts and was recommended this knife from a friend who also collects them. I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't extremely overpriced as most knives of this quality usually are. Will say the opening will get some getting used too but its extremely smooth and just absolutely beautiful and thank you to my girlfriend AKA fiancé (keep calling her my girlfriend as I forget that we are now engaged) oops haha. She beat me to it and bought it as an early Birthday present that falls in December as I was going to get it either way before this blackfriday deal ended. Highly recommended and will be coming back for more, already ordered two Damascus beads for this and another knife and eyeing their other awesome gear and knives.

Ok so I carry the titanium version 1 daily I need something small but reliable for my day to day. It fits me perfectly for my outside of work social life going into to woods I carry the version 2 titanium folder. I love these knives glassy smooth looks amazing. Now onto customer service I had two warranty issues and they sorted me out immediately. From start to finish they treat you like family if I’m recommending a knife it’s gonna be from big idea design. I have other knives in my collection protech mcnees Chris reeves. So many fixed blades as well. I still will recommend big idea design I really like the feel of either model super fidgety just amazing design. I recently dropped my titanium version 2 in the river while fishing actually my friend dropped it in the river. I definitely plan on getting another one.

I own a lot of Big Idea Designs products. They are all 💯. I love the clean simple designs and high quality fit and finish.

This is an interesting blade. It has a ton of personality. In hand it has Sebenza feeling. Minimalistic. If you have OCD and like simple things, you will love this. In a sea of ridiculous blade shapes and scales this knife just ticks the boxes and says pocket me, and use me.

The spring is light. I was very surprised. Didn't even like how light it was, then I saw that lockup is 100%. So that would make sense. Now I love the light spring. However, be careful, those bearings are like glass. That light spring is ready to drop the blade like an executioner's guillotine on your thumb.

Everything these guys and gals do is solid gold. It started with the TPT slide for me and I'll end up with the entire catalog.

If you like this knife get one, they're gonna sell out, just like the utility blade.

And if you look real close, the blade has just that little bit of belly. I didn't even notice in the pictures. Sly dogs.
