pen is nice to look at and fells great in the hand. the only thing is that it leaks and makes a mess
Would recommend this pen and this company to anyone! Tyler is a great example of what customer service should be everywhere! Thank you guys for everything and I hope I can send people your way... You deserve it!
It’s been said numerous times before and I’m not spouting anything new with this review. My prior EDC was the GP1945 Pro. I still love that pen and keep it in my EDC but for the time being the BI Bolt Action Pen is in my pocket everyday by virtue of having so many options on my refills. Both of these pens are similar in size at the grip, although the GP1945 has a knurled grip that I kind of enjoy where others find it too abrasive. I also prefer the bolt action on that pen over the BI Bolt Action.
Don’t let that take anything away from the pen, it’s just what I’m used to and been carrying since 2017. The BI pen feels *solid* in my hand where the GP1945 has some rattle and play in some of the components. Comparisons aside I love this pen, it’s weight, styling, and of course how it writes with my favorite refills. (Zebra Sarasa .5 mm and Pentel Energel .5 mm).
This was a significant cost to myself, but I’m glad I plunked down the money for it. I feel like I’ll be able to use this pen for many years to come.
I normally go for black, but grey has been my thing recently so I went with the stone version and I opted for the Damascus clip, paired with the Damascus bolt grip it looks awesome and I can’t wait for it to start to wear in and get some more personality.
